ZC Lighting Global Conference: Opening the 5.0 Era of Stadiums with "Evolution of Light"
ZC Lighting, a global leader in LED lighting technology, held the "Light Evolution 2025" global launch conference at the Munich Olympic Center today, announcing the launch of the fifth-generation smart stadium lighting system, which for the first time deeply integrates Li-Fi optical communication technology with event-level LED lighting, and has reached strategic cooperation with FIFA, NBA and other organizations, aiming to cover 70% of the world's top stadiums in the next three years.
Highlights of the conference
1. Technological revolution: Li-Fi lighting system redefines the value of "light"
- World's first dual-mode lamp: The same lamp outputs lighting beams and data signals at the same time, with a rate of 10Gbps and a delay of less than 3ms, which can support AR real-time tactical analysis, multi-language commentary push, and emergency evacuation navigation in a venue with 100,000 people;
- Zero electromagnetic interference: Solve the problem of signal attenuation of traditional Wi-Fi in dense crowds, and obtain the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) innovation certification.
- Energy saving breakthrough: Equipped with a self-developed AI energy-saving algorithm, dynamically adjusts the light intensity, and reduces energy consumption by 25% compared with the previous generation of products.
2. Strategic signing: Binding top events and establishing industry standards
- FIFA: Incorporating ZC Lighting Li-Fi system into the 2026 Mexico City World Cup venue access standards
- NBA: Providing intelligent dimming solutions for 30 teams’ home stadiums to synchronize event lighting with audience mobile interactive games;
- UEFA: Jointly launching the “Green Light 2030” plan to promote the zero-carbon transformation of 100 stadiums in Europe.
3. Ecological Alliance: Global giants cross-border joint ventures
- Siemens: Integrate its building management system to achieve interoperability of lighting, security, and ticketing data;
- Epic Games: Develop AR light interactive content based on Unreal Engine, and fans can participate in virtual advertising creation through stadium lighting.
- Tesla Energy: Co-build an integrated “light storage and charging” solution, using the rooftop photovoltaic power generation of the venue to power the Li-Fi system.
“Let light become the language that connects the world”
ZC Lighting CEO Chen said at the press conference: “We are evolving from a ‘lighting tool supplier’ to a ‘lighting ecosystem operator’. Future sports venues will transmit data, inspire emotions, and reduce carbon footprints through light - this is the core value of Light 5.0.”
During the live demonstration, 2,000 ZC Lighting lamps in the Munich Olympic Center were started simultaneously, achieving the following during the football exhibition match:
- Real-time projection of AR offside lines in the audience seats;
- Pushing the running heat map of the players in this game to the fans’ mobile phones through light beams;
- Automatically switching to “low-energy maintenance mode” after the game, saving 80% of standby power.
Global first-order and customer testimonials
- NEOM Future City in Saudi Arabia: Signed a $120 million contract to deploy a full Li-Fi lighting network for The Line sports complex;
- Meta Sports Group of the United States: "ZC Lighting's technology allows us to achieve a seamless integration of lighting and virtual scenes in VR live broadcasts."
- African Sports Federation: "This system solves the problem of network coverage in remote areas, and the lights are signal towers!"
Sustainable development commitments
ZC Lighting announced that it will invest 1% of its annual revenue in the Global Sports Equity Program:
- Donate smart lighting systems to developing countries.
- Train 1,000 "light technology engineers";
- Help 100 venues achieve carbon-neutral certification by 2030.
